Emmer Green ARP Shelter, Reading
Deep below a corner off a busy road in Caversham lays a derelict wartime subterranean ARP Wardens Post, a wartime relic from Readings past.
Built as a Air Precutions Post for WW2.
This ARP Post was very much easily accessible if you know where to look, seeing as work is ongoing above to fill the shelter in, it made it very easy to access.
Inside it was in very good condition but there is signs of the metal tin corrugated tin was rusting away leaving the mud and earth to fall into it and like up.
As soon as I heard about this place I shot over to this location with my camera all charged up and tripod along with series of torches to light it up.
